i was asked why i say Oppression instead of Racism.

well thats because there is much more than racism going on hence the use of Oppression.

The Oppression in this country is 3 part issue

Capitalist, Male Dominated, White Supremacy

Male domination and white Supremacy are pretty self explanatory. Ask Sotomayor Im sure its pissing her off right now.

Capitalist need some explaining. Its not that capitalism is bad but in conjunction with the male/white supremacy it also becomes a repressive force because the people in power also have superior access to means of producing wealth and have had it for much much longer than anyone else. Giving them the ability to use their capital to influence and advocate for their purpose leaving everyone else assed out.

Remember all these things works together to create injustice and addressing only race leaves the economic and gender issues unaccounted and that would be only be treating the symptoms as opposed to addressing the problem.....
