Nappy Headed Black Child

for those of you that dont know the murder of Jerean Blake is what kicked of the chain of events that ended in the police killing. Jerean Blake was murdered by 34 year old black man b/c he didnt like the way Jerean looked at him. This same individual was in the same housing complex as Aiyana Jones' family when the police broke in at 1 am w/ a no knock warrant. Jerean was 17 years old still a child himself. Not far from my 22 years.

This brings to light 2 critical things that the black community has to deal with. Threats from the Outside such as the police the government white supremacy. And Threats from the inside self hate disregard for our own lives, bad lifestyle choices. Neither of these two can be ignored in our rise as a people. Above all we must protect the future and we lost 2 of them. one from the outside and one from the inside
